I have worked in the I.T. industry for close to 10 years now in various roles. I am an expert in troubleshooting, and always complete the objective to the desired intent. I am knowledgeable in the Windows and Linux environment to include on-premise server management. Effectively operated several levels above my current grade to provide seamless communications throughout civilian and federal computer and radio systems.

System Engineer

Worked as part of a team to integrate Windows and Linux computer systems and servers to provide services to our mobile simulations system supporting pre-mobilizations and training units. Built scripts to automate update and security process using Bash and PowerShell. Maintain 20+ VM’s through vSphere and vCenter that are managed and integrated into our simulations. High attention to detail and rigorous system testing to ensure perfection before any exercises.

The primary duties performed were network analysis to determine frequency requirements, performing topography and environmental analyses to assist in network design and engineering line of sight (LOS) radio links. Configuring and maintain Cisco routing systems to inter-operate with SATCOM equipment to provide real-time network capabilities while in a remote field environment. Use of OSPF, VLAN, Cisco Call Manager, layer 3 switching, fiber optic, and LAN technologies.
